In 1996 the Persian harpist/singer Asita Hamidi started Bazaar. At the same time in Sweden, bassplayer Björn Meyer co-founded the trio Bazar Blå. The two finally met at a concert in Switzerland and instantly recognised their close musical relationship. Joined by vocal artist Bruno Amstad and drummer Kaspar Rast, they released 4 albums and played countless concerts until Asita’s passing in 2012.
